How do I know if I am a registered voter?

Google “Illinois Voter Registration” or visit:

http://www.elections.il.gov/votinginformation/registrationlookup.aspx

  • The only information you will need is your name and zip code.

Is there still time to register to vote?

Yes! Between March 17, 2017 and April 3, 2017, you can register to vote in person at the Rockford City Board of Elections or through your county clerk’s office. The only difference is that you must vote the same day you register. You will need two forms of ID to vote.

When and Where is Early Voting?

Any City of Rockford voter who is registered from their current address and with their current name may vote early. Early voting begins 40 days before an election and ends 1 day before that same election at the Election Office, 301 S. 6th Street, Rockford. Once any vote has been cast before the election, the voter may NOT go to the polls on Election Day to change their vote.

The next Consolidated Election is April 4, 2017. Early voting begins March 17, 2017 and ends on April 3, 2017.
